📋 Description

• Program, modify, and optimize PLC control systems • Commission machinery and systems, either internally or on-site at customer locations • Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve faults in control and automation systems • Create, maintain, and expand PLC programs • Visualize system processes using HMI or SCADA systems • Conduct functional tests and system acceptance procedures • Support the optimization of existing production and automation processes • Collaborate with electrical design, mechanical engineering, project management, and customers • Document programs, modifications, and commissioning activities • Configure and integrate drives, sensors, actuators, and fieldbus systems • Provide service support, remote assistance, and support with technical inquiries • VOLENTUM works with applicants to identify suitable tasks, industries, technologies, locations, and working conditions, then selectively matches them with suitable customer companies

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in PLC programming, ideally with Siemens S7, TIA Portal, or comparable systems • Knowledge of automation engineering, electrical engineering, or control engineering • Completed technical training, further qualification as a state-certified technician or master craftsperson, or a degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field • Experience with HMI and visualization systems is an advantage • Basic knowledge of drive technology, sensor technology, or fieldbus technology is desirable • Ability to understand technical interrelationships and work in a solution-oriented manner • Structured and independent working style • Enjoyment of technical challenges and teamwork • Willingness to travel depending on the assignment area is desirable but not required • Good German language skills; English language skills are an advantage
