📋 Description

• Support the Accounting and Tax Director in ensuring compliance with corporate fiscal duties and existing fiscal regulations • Ensure tax reporting to local tax authorities and headquarters • Contribute to compliance with corporate tax returns, VAT, and other fiscal duties • Support completion of Italian income tax and indirect tax returns, including related analysis • Provide statutory tax calculations under local GAAP and calculate current and deferred taxes for quarterly and annual financial statements • Manage quarterly German GAAP and IFRS tax reporting • Contribute to managing tax authority audits and enquiries • Work with external firms and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate tax compliance, including transfer pricing, withholding tax, and VAT • Manage and document transfer pricing • Provide strategic tax advice and support company projects and initiatives as a business partner • Contribute to development and maintenance of the tax control framework

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Economics or Tax law • Knowledge of Italian direct and indirect tax regulations • Knowledge of main fiscal duties • Knowledge of tax reporting in accordance with IFRS • Basic Accounting knowledge • Knowledge of financial, banking and insurance products • Proficient knowledge of Excel • Fluency in English • Ideally IT skills, including thinking in terms of digital work processes and establishing digital solutions • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and under time pressure in a fast-paced work environment • Hands-on team player who takes initiative • Self-starting, positive, and pragmatic attitude with ability to think outside the box • Ability to manage multiple projects and topics simultaneously • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Proficiency in financial software applications and affinity for automation
