📋 Description
• Research and build targeted media lists across AI, manufacturing, investment, and real estate verticals • Draft press releases, pitch emails, and media briefs • Track coverage, coordinate interviews, and maintain press contact databases • Identify relevant trade publications and editorial calendars • Support drafting and placement of contributed articles and expert commentary • Help position portfolio founders as credible voices in their sectors • Monitor industry awards, innovation lists, and rankings • Draft awards submissions and maintain an awards pipeline with deadlines and submission status • Research and evaluate conferences, summits, trade shows, and investor forums • Identify and secure speaking slots, panel placements, and sponsorship opportunities • Support planning and execution of hosted events, product launches, press briefings, roundtables, and virtual sessions • Draft speaker abstracts, bios, briefing documents, and event press materials • Coordinate media attendance, on-site interviews, and post-event coverage • Maintain a live events calendar with deadlines, logistics, and outcomes • Work directly with leadership across multiple portfolio companies to shape public perception
🎯 Requirements
• Exceptional writing that is concise, persuasive, and structured • Ability to synthesise complex ideas into accessible narratives • Strong research instincts and intellectual curiosity • Organised, detail-oriented project management across deadlines and logistics • Comfort managing multiple brands and workstreams simultaneously • Genuine interest in AI, venture building, and capital markets • Experience planning or coordinating events, conferences, or speaker programmes • Experience with media CRM tools (Zoho CRM, Meltwater, Cision, Muck Rack) or event platforms (Zoho Campaign, Zoho Suits, Eventbrite, Luma, Hopin) • Prior work in PR, journalism, editorial, debate, or event management • A background in journalism, mass communication, PR, or event management is preferred
