• Review demand forecasts and inventory requirements to support purchasing decisions • Plan and place purchase orders with suppliers • Monitor open purchase orders, delivery schedules, and supplier commitments • Coordinate regularly with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products • Support planning activities for remanufactured cores and related inventory • Maintain accurate purchasing, planning, and supplier information in the ERP system • Identify potential shortages, delays, and supply risks and communicate them to the appropriate stakeholders • Work cross-functionally with sourcing, supply chain, inventory, and operations teams • Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures for purchasing and planning activities • Use Excel and AI productivity tools to analyze information, prepare reports, and improve processes • Support supplier performance monitoring and issue resolution • Travel to supplier locations approximately once per month, as required
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field • Around 5 years of relevant experience in purchasing, sourcing, supply planning, demand planning, or supply chain • Experience creating and managing purchase orders • Strong knowledge of ERP systems and purchasing processes • Advanced or strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel • Experience preparing standard operating procedures and process documentation • Strong planning, organization, and problem-solving skills • Excellent supplier coordination and follow-up abilities • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English • Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams • Preferred: Experience in the automotive, manufacturing, or remanufacturing industry • Preferred: Familiarity with remanufactured core planning and inventory management • Preferred: Experience using AI productivity tools, including ChatGPT, to support analysis and process efficiency
• Travel to supplier locations approximately once per month, as required
