📋 Description

• Join Wellio’s Product Team as an Engineer • Build and ship product solutions addressing student wellbeing challenges for schools • Develop and maintain Ruby on Rails products • Lead implementation of several major product initiatives • Gain deep knowledge of the codebase and business domain • Improve development practices through code reviews and technical documentation • Establish patterns and practices that make the monolith easier to work with • Contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions • Collaborate closely with the CTO, senior Product Engineers, Designer, Head of Product, co-founders, and customer-facing teams • Stay close to customers and solve their problems • Integrate technology, content, and design to improve student wellbeing • Work within the Shape Up product development process

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive Ruby on Rails experience • Experience building meaningful customer-focused products • Strong technical problem-solving skills • Clean-code practices • Pragmatic approach to balancing technical constraints with business needs • Constructive problem-solving and ability to turn complex challenges into actionable solutions • Well versed in AI-assisted coding • Located anywhere in Australia • Willingness or ability to work from Melbourne or Sydney offices if nearby
