📋 Description

‱ Review realistic import and export scenarios involving Mexican customs regulations ‱ Develop expert reference solutions for customs classification and trade compliance tasks ‱ Document the reasoning behind customs decisions and regulatory interpretations ‱ Review and validate alternative solutions for technical accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance ‱ Identify missing information, incorrect assumptions, or inappropriate decision sequences ‱ Reference applicable regulations such as Ley Aduanera, LIGIE, TIGIE, NOMs, RRNA, and T-MEC ‱ Collaborate with the project team to ensure expert knowledge is accurately represented ‱ Contribute expert workflows and decision-making to reference materials supporting advanced AI systems

🎯 Requirements

‱ 3+ years of recent, hands-on experience in customs brokerage, tariff classification, trade compliance, import/export operations, or a related field ‱ Current or recent practical experience with Mexican customs regulations and procedures, within the past two years ‱ One or more relevant professional backgrounds, including Licensed Agente Aduanal, Clasificador Arancelario, Trade Compliance Specialist, Customs Compliance Specialist, Import/Export Compliance Professional, or Customs or Trade Consultant ‱ Professional fluency in Spanish ‱ Ability to clearly explain and document reasoning behind regulatory and classification decisions ‱ Working proficiency in English sufficient to understand project instructions and communicate with the project team ‱ Preferred experience with tariff classification, LIGIE/TIGIE, T-MEC/USMCA, NOMs and RRNA, customs valuation, rules of origin, pedimentos, VUCEM, and customs audits or trade compliance reviews ‱ Preferred experience using official Mexican customs resources such as ANAM, SAT, SNICE, and VUCEM ‱ Experience with commercial customs software is welcome but not required ‱ Knowledge of U.S. customs regulations, HTS classification, or cross-border Mexico-U.S. trade operations is a plus
