• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) • Responsible execution and monitoring of payment transactions • Detailed analysis of complex financial data to support business decisions • Active involvement in optimizing, digitizing and automating financial processes • Communication with tax advisors, auditors, tax authorities and international contacts • Preparation and electronic submission of VAT returns • Preparation of annual tax returns for the tax advisor • Competent administration of DATEV, Amazon Business and other relevant systems • Organization and maintenance of cost centers and related reporting • Support for controlling with well-founded analyses and reports • Proactive monitoring of liquidity and preparation of short-term liquidity plans
• Completed commercial training or degree with a focus on finance/accounting • Solid professional experience in financial (balance sheet) accounting • Experience in e‑commerce and financial controlling is an advantage • Comprehensive MS Office skills, with advanced Excel knowledge • Experience with DATEV programs and other accounting systems • Strong analytical thinking and a high affinity for numbers • Self-initiative, precision and the ability to deliver high-quality work under time pressure • Very good German language skills and ideally good English skills
