📋 Description

• Lead and build features end-to-end, from reviewing user interviews and product design through architecture, system development, deployment, and production monitoring • Partner closely with the product team to discover user problems and shape solutions • Build tools and workflows that help travel organizers streamline daily activities and grow their businesses • Develop CRM tools to help organizers collect and convert leads and returning customers • Define and implement an organizer dashboard guiding important business activities • Build task-management workflows that keep information up to date and prevent missed opportunities • Write high-quality, maintainable frontend and backend code • Build resilient applications and ensure services remain available • Monitor services and mitigate incidents as an on-call/incident responder • Mentor teammates and contribute to engineering practices and excellence

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience (ideally full-stack) • Strong product ownership mindset • Proficiency in building consumer-facing user experiences at scale • Expertise with at least one modern web application framework, ideally React/React Native • Proficiency with building and maintaining component libraries and working with a design system • Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architecture • Strong systems thinking and ability to design for scalability • Experience operating applications in production, monitoring, and on-call responsibilities • Excellent communication skills and experience working in multicultural, distributed teams • Experience using AI assistants like Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot for code generation and testing • Experience leading projects and mentoring other engineers • Experience with Ruby on Rails and/or another back-end language is preferred • Comfortable contributing across the full application stack is preferred • Recent experience building AI-enabled or Agentic applications is preferred
