📋 Description

• Build and ship AI agent features end to end using Node.js/TypeScript services on AWS • Build interfaces used to configure, test, and observe AI agents • Extend the AI agent platform with skills, workflows, sandboxes, tools, connectors, tracing, audit, and orchestration capabilities • Integrate and orchestrate LLM, STT, and TTS providers • Use prompt and context engineering, tool calling, structured outputs, streaming, and robust failure handling • Build evaluations, tracing, and monitoring to make AI quality measurable and production-ready • Engineer for latency, reliability, cost, privacy, and security • Drive product discovery, challenge scope, propose solutions, and own features after release • Use quality and adoption signals to iterate • Contribute through code reviews, architecture decisions, knowledge sharing, and collaboration across the AI Agents stream

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience • Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js backend skills • Frontend experience with React or equivalent • Experience building and shipping LLM-powered features used by real users in production • Experience with prompt and context engineering, tool/function calling, structured outputs, RAG, streaming, and handling non-deterministic behaviour • Experience with evaluations, tracing, monitoring, and regression detection for AI systems • Strong production AWS experience with serverless and/or containerized environments • Experience with Lambda/SAM, ECS, SQS, DynamoDB, RDS, and OpenSearch • Strong fundamentals in REST/API design, WebSockets, SQL and NoSQL data modelling, caching, testing, CI/CD, and production debugging • Strong ownership and product mindset • English B2 or above • Ability to work with ambiguity and turn ideas into shipped features • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is not stated; no educational credential required
