📋 Description

• Provide technical guidance and support to our Unreal Engine developers • Develop interactive realtime 3D applications, such as 3D configurators, self-service platforms, and AR and VR applications • Plan projects technically, design systems and architectures, and implement projects in Unreal Engine • Take responsibility for the technical quality, performance, stability, and scalability of our applications • Continuously develop our Unreal Engine pipeline, frameworks, development standards, and cross-team workflows • Conduct development reviews and support the team with complex technical challenges • Estimate effort and assess requirements technically in close coordination with project management, design, and 3D production • Work independently and take ownership within interdisciplinary, agile project teams—from concept and design through development and deployment • Integrate 3D, media, and configuration data into interactive realtime applications • Work closely with Unreal Artists, project management, and other disciplines to develop shared technical solutions • Provide technical support for client presentations, consultations, and acceptance sessions • Evaluate and integrate new technologies and AI-powered tools to optimize our development and production processes

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in realtime 3D development with Unreal Engine • A completed degree, for example in media informatics or computer science, or equivalent training • Extensive experience in the technical design and implementation of complex Unreal Engine applications • Excellent knowledge of visual scripting with Blueprints • Good to very good programming skills in C++ • Experience providing technical guidance, support, and professional development to fellow developers • Proficiency with version control systems, such as Perforce, and collaborative development processes • Experience with performance optimization, profiling, debugging, and deployment • Experience working with different hardware, operating systems, and target platforms • Design-oriented mindset and a strong understanding of 3D rendering, user experience, and visual quality • Experience and interest in using AI-powered tools to optimize and accelerate development processes, for example coding, debugging, documentation, research, or prototyping • Awareness of the responsible use of AI, particularly with regard to data protection, copyright, and confidential project data • Creativity and curiosity about new technologies, trends, and innovations • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style, with a willingness to take responsibility for shared processes and results • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with an enthusiasm for bringing technical and creative disciplines together • Experience delivering AR, VR, or MR projects is a plus • Experience with cloud deployment, Pixel Streaming, or comparable streaming technologies is a plus • Experience with virtual studio setups and related technology is a plus • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
