📋 Description

• Prepare and record payroll-related general ledger journal entries • Manage complex payroll journals, bank transactions, accruals, and prepayment amortisation activities • Reconcile and maintain payroll liability accounts • Investigate and resolve accounting errors, mis-postings, and reconciliation discrepancies • Analyse and explain month-end payroll liability movements for financial reporting • Respond to finance stakeholder queries and provide payroll accounting expertise • Support year-end audits and fiscal reporting activities with documentation and analysis • Contribute to team member development through knowledge sharing and collaboration • Identify opportunities to improve payroll accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency • Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Global Payroll and wider finance team

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience • Minimum 5 years of experience working within a finance department • Strong understanding of complex double-entry bookkeeping principles • Experience preparing and reconciling payroll-related accounting transactions and liability accounts • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to confidentiality • Proficiency in English, written and verbal
