📋 Description

• Provide specialized N3 technical support for VMware environments, investigating and resolving critical incidents • Administer and troubleshoot VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter Server, and vSAN environments • Manage virtualization clusters, including High Availability (HA) and Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS) • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on virtualized infrastructure • Execute software and firmware updates, patching, and security fixes • Administer and troubleshoot Dell PowerEdge servers and Nutanix infrastructure • Configure, administer, and troubleshoot virtual networks using Distributed Switch (vDS) and Standard Switch (vSS) • Proactively monitor the environment, identifying risks, failures, and opportunities for improvement • Conduct capacity, performance, availability, and resource utilization analyses • Resolve incidents related to virtualization, storage, connectivity, and infrastructure • Support environment recovery and business continuity processes • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, incident reports, and improvement recommendations • Provide knowledge transfer and technical guidance to internal teams • Work in accordance with operational procedures, support schedules, and contract-defined SLAs • Maintain availability in line with the agreed coverage model, including emergency call-outs

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience administering VMware vSphere 7 or later environments • Advanced knowledge of VMware ESXi, vCenter Server, and vSAN • Experience managing VMware clusters and high-availability features such as HA and DRS • Knowledge of VMware Distributed Switch (vDS) and Standard Switch (vSS) • Experience with Dell PowerEdge servers and Nutanix infrastructure • Knowledge of networking, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, and shared storage • Experience with firmware updates, patch deployment, and infrastructure upgrades • Advanced troubleshooting, log analysis, and complex problem-solving skills • Experience working in critical, high-availability corporate environments • Ability to work independently on high-severity incidents • Availability for remote support according to the agreed schedule or on-call arrangement, including weekends and holidays
