📋 Description

• Lead a squad of 4 to 6 developers within the Core department, in the Expand squad • Own team dynamics, the technical quality of delivered features, and the execution of architectural decisions • Work closely with the Product Manager on scoping, planning, and feature delivery • Support each team member in developing their technical skills and working practices • Embody and communicate Youtrust’s vision, values, and objectives within the squad • Manage a multidisciplinary team comprising a Product Manager, a Product Designer, and 4 to 6 developers • Help the team grow through individual and collective coaching • Create the conditions for strong team dynamics • Ensure deadlines are met and deliverables meet high technical standards • Share schedules, challenges, decisions, and difficulties with the team • Participate in recruitment within the Engineering department • Own squad delivery together with the Product Manager • Monitor delivery processes and team rituals • Facilitate pre-development scoping sessions • Contribute to a clear, prioritized, and predictable way of working • Participate in the continuous improvement of the Engineering team’s processes, methods, and tools • Identify blockers and contribute to resolving them • Take ownership of the team’s architectural choices • Challenge technical decisions and assess their impact • Lead architectural scoping based on product and business needs and technical constraints • Participate in technical reviews when necessary • Take a hands-on approach when necessary

🎯 Requirements

• At least two years’ experience managing a squad or team of developers • Strong software engineering background, developed through significant front-end and/or back-end development experience • Ability to challenge technical decisions and understand their consequences • Ability to lead architectural scoping and align product and business needs with technical constraints • Good knowledge of agile methodologies, particularly Lean, Kanban, and Scrum • Ability to organize and prioritize the team’s work to ensure predictable delivery • Strong organizational and prioritization skills • Ability to unite a team and help its members grow • Commitment to continuously improving tools, processes, and working methods • Use of artificial intelligence tools in day-to-day professional work, with a willingness to encourage their relevant adoption • French: C2 proficiency • English: B2 proficiency
