📋 Description

• Take end-to-end ownership of accounting for Youwe Ukraine, including bookkeeping, invoicing, supplier administration and fixed assets • Run month-end and year-end closing and the annual accounts • Ensure financial statements are accurate, complete and timely • Define and maintain internal controls and monitor Ukrainian tax and legal requirements • Flag financial and compliance risks early • Ensure payroll and tax filings for Ukraine are correct and timely • Own intercompany reconciliations and transfer pricing • Act as point of contact for auditors and tax queries • Streamline and automate finance processes using ERP, Power BI, data analytics and AI • Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for Ukraine and, over time, globally • Migrate Youwe Ukraine financial administration into Workday • Set up processes, data and controls for an international ERP • Collaborate with the international Finance team in Rotterdam and Leeds

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in financial control and/or accounting • Experience in an international company or with international reporting • Understanding of European financial rules • Solid knowledge of Ukrainian accounting, tax and payroll legislation • Hands-on experience with closing, reporting, payroll, tax filings and audits • Experience with ERP systems, for example SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or NetSuite • Bachelor's or Master's in Finance or Accounting • Independent and self-organized • Comfortable working remotely with colleagues across countries • Fluent in English, spoken and written • Nice-to-have: Experience with Workday Financials • Nice-to-have: Background in a project-based service company • Nice-to-have: Experience with intercompany, transfer pricing, IFRS or EU financial legislation • Nice-to-have: Experience with Power BI, automation or AI in finance processes • Nice-to-have: Hands-on use of AI assistants or automation in finance work • Nice-to-have: Experience with an ERP implementation or migration
