📋 Description

• Manage development of the Wowhead Studio application for datamined creatures, characters, and other in-game assets • Extract game data and assets to build tools supporting products and services • Maintain Wowhead’s WebGL model viewers • Use the TypeScript-based standard viewer across the Wowhead website • Use the C++ WebAssembly-based viewer for World of Warcraft Player Housing pages • Use the JavaScript-based Three.js model viewer • Maintain technical documentation on game data, formats, change history, data-mining tools, and processes • Communicate task progress, blockers, and role-related issues regularly and professionally

🎯 Requirements

• Previous hands-on experience doing data mining work on World of Warcraft and/or Diablo IV • Comprehensive understanding of various programming languages such as C++, Python, C#, TypeScript, and JavaScript • Understanding of debugging, reverse engineering, and custom-made tools • Ability to read and comprehend x86/x64 assembly language, such as via IDA • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English • Ability to collaborate remotely and coordinate with stakeholders across different time zones • Professionalism, reliability, analytical and problem-solving skills • Experience with Blizzard games is advantageous for understanding project requirements and consumers
