Zenara Health is a SaaS platform for mental health clinics and providers that uses AI-driven assessments, workflow automation, and monitoring to streamline intake, documentation, care coordination, and billing. It generates clinician-informed, measurement-based care plans, integrates with EHRs (starting with Charm), captures timers and claims-ready artifacts to surface reimbursable work, and supports human-in-the-loop validation and continuous outcome tracking. The product emphasizes security and compliance (HIPAA/BAA, encryption, audit logs) and is targeted at clinicians, psychiatrists, and group practices looking to improve outcomes, reduce clinician burden, and increase revenue.

📋 Description

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack product features • Develop AI-native applications and workflows using autonomous agents, LLMs, tools, APIs, retrieval systems, and structured data • Build agentic systems capable of planning and executing multi-step tasks with observability, evaluation, permissions, and human oversight • Use autonomous development agents for implementation, testing, debugging, refactoring, documentation, and code review • Build and operate multi-agent workflows across product discovery, architecture, development, testing, security, deployment, and maintenance • Define agent responsibilities, communication patterns, permissions, escalation paths, and quality gates • Design backend services, APIs, data models, integrations, and modern frontend experiences • Make architecture decisions involving scalability, reliability, security, cost, and maintainability • Create evaluation frameworks and feedback loops for agent quality, accuracy, reliability, and business impact • Develop safeguards against architectural drift, security vulnerabilities, unreliable code, and unnecessary complexity • Implement protections against hallucinations, prompt injection, excessive permissions, data leakage, and unreliable tool execution • Measure software factory effectiveness using delivery speed, defect rates, test coverage, reliability, cost, and business outcomes • Work with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, containers, logs, monitoring, secrets, environments, and production deployments • Apply foundational cybersecurity practices across application development and infrastructure • Collaborate with founders, product stakeholders, customers, and engineers • Own work from problem definition through production deployment and ongoing improvement • Evaluate emerging agentic AI frameworks, models, protocols, and development practices • Gradually coordinate the agent swarm and shape the AI-native engineering organization • Ship meaningful full-stack features into production • Establish autonomous-agent workflows that improve engineering speed and quality • Contribute to architecture across application, AI, data, security, and infrastructure layers • Improve reliability, security, and observability of agentic systems • Build repeatable workflows for agents to implement, test, review, and document software • Demonstrate project ownership from initial idea to measurable production outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• Approximately 5–8 years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated ability • Experience owning delivery end to end and taking products over the finish line • Strong full-stack development skills • Experience with React, Next.js, or equivalent frontend frameworks • Backend development experience using Python, TypeScript, Node.js, or similar technologies • Experience with REST, GraphQL, event-driven, or asynchronous integrations • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases • Strong understanding of software architecture, API design, data modeling, testing, and production engineering • Practical experience building with LLMs or agentic AI systems • Understanding of tool use, function calling, planning, multi-step execution, agent orchestration, delegation, multi-agent collaboration, memory, context management, retrieval-augmented generation, structured outputs, validation, model routing, evaluations, tracing, observability, guardrails, permission boundaries, and human-in-the-loop workflows • Ability to critically assess AI-generated code using tests, reviews, security checks, and architectural reasoning • Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, containers, CI/CD, production monitoring, and deployment practices • Basic cybersecurity knowledge including authentication, authorization, encryption, secrets management, secure API design, dependency and supply-chain security, data privacy, access controls, and common web application vulnerabilities • High ownership, curiosity, and comfort in an ambiguous startup environment • Desire to remain at the cutting edge of agentic AI and AI-native software development • Clear written and verbal communication skills • Availability between approximately 6:00 PM and 12:00 AM IST for required meetings and live collaboration • Commitment to approximately 50 hours per week • Availability during critical deployments and incidents
