Beschreibung

• Act as an alternative in-office resource addressing healthcare provider questions about patient access • Call directly on healthcare provider offices within an assigned geography • Answer questions about patient access and reimbursement for AbbVie’s immunology portfolio • Provide expertise on coverage and access and reimbursement challenges affecting AbbVie immunology products • Educate healthcare providers on patient support programs, access and reimbursement tools, and services • Educate on product-specific acquisition and access options, including specialty pharmacy networks, specialty distribution, and white-bagging support • Educate on resources available to address access issues • Provide local expertise on national and regional payer policies, payer issues, coding changes, and claims submission processes • Liaise with AbbVie’s Access and Reimbursement support center regarding prescription status and program eligibility • Report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and Market Access account management teams • Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate providers within the territory • Remain current on managed care, reimbursement, and policy activities • Travel approximately 50% of the time

🎯 Anforderungen

• At least 3 years of experience in immunology with experience in Market Access, Payer Account Management, and/or Access and Reimbursement • Thorough understanding of technical payer policy processes, systems, and requirements for specialty medicine coverage, coding, and payment • Understanding of rules, regulations, and risks associated with reimbursement support services • Ability to communicate technical coding and billing requirements at national and regional levels across all care settings • Comprehensive understanding of Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D and associated reimbursement dynamics • Understanding of drug acquisition and dispensing in immunology specialty biologics, including Buy and Bill, specialty pharmacies, and specialty distributors • Understanding of access and reimbursement support service centers and compliant interaction practices • Excellent territory and account management skills • Bachelor's degree • Valid driver's license • 5 or more years of industry experience in access and reimbursement or account management • Extensive experience educating others on payer processes, coverage requirements, and access-related situations for specialty medicines • Strong track record of leadership within current role
