Beschreibung

• Serve as a field-based alternative in-office resource for HCP questions about patient access • Call directly on HCP offices within an assigned geography • Answer questions about patient access and reimbursement for the AbbVie immunology portfolio • Educate HCPs on patient support programs, access and reimbursement tools, and services • Educate on product-specific acquisition and access options, including specialty pharmacy networks, specialty distribution, and white-bagging support • Educate providers on resources addressing access issues • Provide local expertise on national and regional payer policies, payer issues, coding changes, and claims submission processes • Liaise with AbbVie's Access and Reimbursement support center regarding prescription status and program eligibility • Report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and Market Access account management teams • Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate providers within the territory • Remain current on managed care, reimbursement, and policy activities

🎯 Anforderungen

• At least 3 years of experience in immunology with experience in Market Access, Payer Account Management, and/or Access and Reimbursement • Thorough understanding of technical payer policy processes, systems, and requirements for coverage, coding, and payment for specialty medicines • Understanding of rules, regulations, and risks associated with reimbursement support services • Ability to communicate technical coding and billing requirements at national and regional levels across care settings • Comprehensive understanding of Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D and associated reimbursement dynamics • Understanding of drug acquisition and dispensing in immunology specialty biologics, including Buy and Bill, specialty pharmacies, and specialty distributors • Understanding of access and reimbursement support service centers and compliant interaction with them • Excellent territory and account management skills • Bachelor's degree • Valid driver's license • Willingness/ability to travel 50% of the time • Additional qualifications include 5 or more years of industry experience in access and reimbursement or account management, extensive experience educating others on payer processes and specialty medicine access situations, and a strong track record of leadership within the current role
