Beschreibung

• Architect and lead the development of critical systems, services, and infrastructure, focusing on reliability, security, performance, and maintainability • Partner with product and program leaders to align engineering solutions with user needs, regulatory requirements, and business outcomes • Set and evolve technical standards across the organization • Address technical debt, guide code review quality, and drive initiatives improving team velocity and code quality • Coach and mentor engineers across teams • Investigate and evaluate new technologies to drive innovation, simplify complexity, and support scale • Contribute directly to codebases, especially architectural foundations, prototypes, and complex or high-risk areas • Identify gaps, facilitate collaboration, and unblock teams without taking over • Uphold and strengthen the engineering culture • Help recruit and onboard exceptional talent

🎯 Anforderungen

• 12+ years of experience as an engineer across multiple tech stacks • Deep experience building and scaling distributed systems • Proven ability to operate as a technical leader, set direction, influence others, and deliver results without formal authority • Strong foundation in software engineering best practices, including CI/CD, observability, automated testing, and infrastructure as code • Experience with cloud-native systems, preferably AWS • Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes • Solid knowledge of relational and non-relational databases • Demonstrated success in a highly regulated environment, preferably healthcare • Understanding of compliance and data protection, such as HIPAA • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills • Comfortable representing engineering in executive conversations and product strategy • Passion for teaching, mentoring, and cultivating a high-trust, high-autonomy team environment
