Beschreibung

• Own the short- and long-term technical vision for the mobile platform across iOS and Android • Design, build, and improve critical systems powering ServiceTitan's iOS and Android apps • Improve mobile product security, availability, reliability, and performance • Drive and participate in major architectural and strategic decisions related to scale • Build tools and systems that improve efficiency for mobile engineers • Improve performance, processes, and quality across the mobile organization • Identify and build shared systems benefiting multiple mobile teams • Mentor and guide engineers across the mobile organization and beyond • Partner with Recruiting on candidate interviews, lead generation, and screening • Contribute to the mobile roadmap and resource planning • Define success metrics and track them consistently • Communicate with engineers, product managers, customers, and other stakeholders • Spend approximately 60% of time on development and 40% on other responsibilities

🎯 Anforderungen

• 15+ years of industry experience, including building large-scale consumer or enterprise mobile applications • 10+ years in senior engineering roles designing APIs, abstractions, and tools used by other engineers • Expert-level native iOS development knowledge with Swift, UIKit/SwiftUI, and Xcode, and/or native Android development with Kotlin, Jetpack, and Android Studio • Deep expertise in one mobile platform with strong working knowledge of the other • Experience architecting mobile apps for scale, including modularization, offline-first design, dependency injection, and clean separation of concerns • Experience migrating monolithic mobile codebases to modular, domain-based architectures • Strong mobile performance engineering background, including startup time, memory and battery efficiency, rendering performance, and crash-free rates • Experience with mobile observability and monitoring tools such as Firebase Crashlytics, Datadog, New Relic, or Application Insights • Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines and release automation such as Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions, or TeamCity • Deep familiarity with version control, unit and UI testing, debugging, and profiling tools used in mobile development • Experience integrating large-scale third-party SDKs and APIs into mobile apps • Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure supporting mobile backends, such as Azure or AWS • Ability to empathize with users and champion their experience • Strong communication and technical writing skills • B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
