Beschreibung

• Design, build, and code critical Aviation Intelligence projects • Develop real-time data streaming and inference systems • Enable high-throughput data availability • Apply AI/ML and transform raw data into actionable insight • Leverage technologies for very large datasets and apply math/statistics skills • Solve open-ended performance, efficiency, and data-processing problems • Help plan and communicate project work • Bring ideas and contribute beyond execution • Improve aviation products and predictions used by airlines and airports • Collaborate within a small team inside a large organization • Potentially attend selected interview steps in person at an office location

🎯 Anforderungen

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without company immigration sponsorship now or in the future • Intermediate or better knowledge of Rust • Python experience • Experience with Unix-style systems, including basic administration • Hands-on Kubernetes experience operating production workloads • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub Actions, or similar • Ability to work within an agile development style • Experience with AWS, including EKS, IAM, VPCs, and networking • Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code • Experience with Kafka • Experience with Nix • Solid understanding of distributed systems, reliability, and scaling • Experience with observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Thanos • Familiarity with Dagster, Airflow, or other modern ETL orchestration tools • Background in ML/AI systems in production (MLOps) • Experience optimizing infrastructure for performance and cost • Familiarity with Iceberg, Spark, Elasticsearch, and other large-scale data processing systems • Experience working in hybrid infrastructure environments (cloud and on-prem Kubernetes)
