Beschreibung

• Carry out Thorough Examination and Test (TExT) inspections of Local Exhaust Ventilation systems • Examine LEV components including air movers, ducting, hoods, and filtration systems • Inspect systems controlling fumes, dust, and mists in schools, hospitals, manufacturing, and production locations • Work closely with the Engineer Surveyor Team under the Senior Operations Team Leaders • Prepare examination reports using electronic reporting tools • Climb at height using suitable ladders and work platforms to examine system ducting • Take readings from high-level test points • Travel regularly to clients’ sites within the allocated local work area • Support and deputise for fellow Engineer Surveyors when required • Independently organise weekly work, meetings, visits, and work allocation

🎯 Anforderungen

• Experienced Mechanical Engineer • Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering • Full valid UK driving licence • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges • Enthusiasm for learning LEV system inspection and COSHH regulations • Ability to make well-informed decisions and take responsibility • Effective short-, medium-, and long-term planning skills • Ability to travel effectively within the allocated local work area • Competence processing documentation and completing general administration promptly • Willingness to support and deputise for fellow Engineer Surveyors • Time management skills • Comfortable using tablets and smartphones • Passion for engineering and self-driven approach • Ability to interact daily with a variety of clients • Strong customer interaction skills • Good oral and written communication skills • LEV systems experience is desirable but not essential; full training provided • Ability to work in a hands-on, customer-facing environment and tolerate exposure to height, noise, and dust
