Beschreibung

• Design and develop new infusion care products, components, and materials, and improve existing ones • Implement changes to existing products, components, and materials through the change control process • Develop design verification and validation plans and prepare documentation • Review injection molding component drawings and reevaluate critical dimensions • Conduct tolerance stack-up analyses and make tolerance decisions • Update 3D models • Review and approve injection molding validation documentation • Provide technical assessments and support for design-related decisions • Create, update, review, and approve design control and risk management documents • Participate in new product introduction and product-change projects • Participate in CAPA and nonconformance investigations • Investigate root causes of product design issues and implement corrective or preventive actions • Collaborate with cross-functional teams • Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, EHS, and company standards • Deliver work outputs at the required level and on time • Continuously develop skills and experience needed for the role

🎯 Anforderungen

• Technical work-based experience • Logical thinking • Good communication skills • Good time management • Teamwork experience • Experience with 3D CAD parts, assemblies, and simulation • Experience with 2D documentation • Knowledge of injection molding processes • Experience with tolerance stack-up analysis • Experience with plastic materials and polymers, their properties, and manufacturing usage • Experience with design for injection molding and assembly processes • Experience with statistical techniques • Project management knowledge • University technical degree or science degree in physics or chemistry preferred • Knowledge of Design Control in accordance with EU ISO 13485 and US 21 CFR 820 preferred • Education in Convatec internal design control, change control, risk management, and applicable SOPs/WIs • English speaking, writing, and reading ability
