Beschreibung

• Own the roadmap, prioritization, and sequencing for Apptegy’s School App and Staff App • Determine where the products should evolve together and where they require distinct strategies • Turn configuration, entitlement, and role-based behavior into clear specifications for engineers, designers, QA partners, and AI tools • Build understanding of school districts, educators, students, families, and staff and translate insights into mobile experiences • Lead product discovery using customer research, product analytics, feedback, market context, and business impact • Partner with Engineering and Design from concept through launch while balancing customer value, quality, feasibility, and delivery speed • Own mobile release considerations, including app store review, release hardening, staged rollouts, and version fragmentation • Bring mobile constraints into cross-functional planning and set realistic timelines • Advance AI-assisted delivery practices through executable specifications and CI-generated and verified acceptance criteria • Define success metrics and monitor activation, engagement, retention, adoption, satisfaction, and app store ratings • Create customer feedback and learning loops to continuously improve the mobile experience • Own product direction for Apptegy’s School App and Staff App, key platforms connecting families and school staff with districts • Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Client Experience

🎯 Anforderungen

• Significant experience leading product for native iOS and Android applications through multiple release cycles; more than responsive web experience required • Experience owning product for multiple teams with distinct roadmaps and a shared platform • Experience leading product through significant technical change, such as a re-platform, architectural migration, or modernization effort • Ability to write precise product specifications executable and verifiable by an engineer, QA partner, or AI agent • Practical experience using AI in the delivery pipeline, including generating acceptance criteria, deriving behavior from an existing codebase, or automating parts of review • Understanding of CI/CD and mobile release mechanics, including build pipelines, feature flags, automated testing, phased rollouts, and version management • Analytical self-sufficiency, including writing queries and interpreting product analytics • Clear communication and strong influence across technical, creative, commercial, and executive audiences • Sound judgment regarding responsible AI use, including privacy, security, accuracy, transparency, and human oversight • Experience partnering with Engineering and Design in an agile product development environment • Commitment to designing intuitive, accessible, and reliable experiences for diverse school communities • Experience building products for K-12 education, public-sector organizations, communication platforms, SaaS, or other mission-driven environments is a standout qualification • Experience owning products used by administrators, educators, students, families, and community members is a standout qualification • Product-side experience with cross-platform mobile frameworks is a standout qualification • Deep familiarity with iOS and Android ecosystems, including app release processes, push notifications, authentication, accessibility, and mobile analytics is a standout qualification • Experience treating accessibility as an ongoing product and engineering program, including automated checks in CI, is a standout qualification • Track record of improving mobile adoption, engagement, retention, or app store ratings is a standout qualification • Experience conducting customer research with school districts or other complex, distributed organizations is a standout qualification • Experience working with distributed or partner engineering teams is a standout qualification • Bachelor’s degree in product management, business, technology, education, or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered in place of a degree • Willingness to travel periodically for customer research, team meetings, company events, or industry conferences
