Beschreibung

• Oversee and direct company-wide export and trade compliance programs to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations • Obtain, maintain, and monitor U.S. government export/import licenses, agreements, and authorizations under relevant regulatory frameworks and platforms (e.g., EAR/SNAP-R, ITAR/DECCS, and similar). • Draft and file ITAR Technical Assistance Agreements, Manufacturing Licensing Agreements, and foreign launch Technology Transfer Control Plans, and domestic Technology Control Plans • Serve as the organization’s designated Empowered Official for regulatory filings, registrations, and government applications • Act as a subject matter expert in export compliance across multiple business units and global operations • Collaborate closely with government agencies and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all applicable export and trade requirements • Develop and execute comprehensive export compliance strategies aligned with U.S. and international regulatory standards • Design and implement trade compliance policies and procedures across cross-functional departments • Classify commodities, hardware, and technical data under applicable export control regulations (e.g., ECCN classifications) • Partner with engineering, production, and operations teams to determine jurisdiction and classification of products and technologies • Manage international shipments and logistics processes to ensure compliance with export control and trade regulations • Review contracts and related documentation to assess export control requirements and licensing needs • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners to maintain ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements • Implement export control protocols and procedures for foreign visitors to AST facilities

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Engineering, Legal Studies, or related field preferred) • A minimum of 5 years of experience in export compliance, global trade compliance, or a related field • Experience serving as an ITAR Empowered Official or similar regulatory authority role • Strong knowledge of U.S. export regulations, including EAR and ITAR • Experience supporting international operations and global compliance programs • Familiarity with licensing processes, compliance audits, and regulatory reporting • Experience working in a highly regulated or technical industry.
