Beschreibung

• Own end-to-end data center network deployment programs from intake through execution, handoff, and close-out • Develop deployment plans covering scope, resources, timelines, and dependencies across network layers and teams • Drive weekly syncs, kickoff calls, and cross-team alignment meetings • Track milestones, tasks, and deliverables using project management tools • Manage PO/pool allocations, hardware tracking, and material readiness • Track global supply status and validate demand versus supply quarterly • Raise and mitigate short-term supply risks and adjust schedules for shortages • Optimize hardware allocation across projects, regions, and the broader fleet • Guide reuse of decommissioned hardware across network programs or sparing needs • Identify and track risks and dependencies across deployment phases and network layers • Maintain dependency matrices and align upstream/downstream teams • Resolve cross-domain schedule conflicts and align Network Engineering pillars on execution sequence and prioritization • Escalate blockers and drive resolution across cross-functional teams • Own program communications, including status updates, escalations, and executive briefings • Provide execution status input to Network Planning teams for an execution-status-aware Plan of Record • Present data center capacity delivery metrics to leadership forums • Manage scope changes and stakeholder alignment on timelines and deliverables • Conduct deployment retrospectives and capture lessons learned • Drive process improvement initiatives, including hardware demand planning and allocation tool adoption or development • Share best practices and mentor junior project managers on deployment operations • Stay current on network technologies, deployment methodologies, and tooling • Coordinate specialized deployments across Backend & AI/ML, Backbone IP & Migrations, Infrastructure & Enterprise Network, or Optical Network domains

🎯 Anforderungen

• Proven ability to own and drive programs end-to-end without escalating every decision • Strong executive communication and ability to synthesize complex technical programs into clear status, risk, and trade-off narratives for leadership • Experience managing competing priorities across multiple concurrent deployments • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams without direct authority • Track record of independently creating structure in ambiguous environments • Experience with BOM management, hardware tracking, procurement coordination, and supply/demand planning • Basic networking knowledge across optical transport, backbone/IP routing, data center fabric, and enterprise/facilities networking • Familiarity with the network deployment lifecycle from sourcing through staging, installation, turn-up, validation, and operational handoff • Ability to engage in cross-functional technical discussions, unblock issues, and communicate with engineering partners without configuring or deploying equipment • Experience with project management tools • 5–8+ years of project/program management in network infrastructure, telecom, data center, or hyperscale environments • Experience coordinating large-scale deployments with multiple stakeholders and vendors • Familiarity with network engineering workflows and deployment operations • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) • Ability to travel up to 15% for site visits, workshops, and deployment support • Flexibility to support deployments across time zones • Must be US-based • Experience with AI/automation tools for workflow optimization is a plus • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification preferred • Network certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or JNCIA are a plus but not required • Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes preferred • Domain-specific familiarity may include GPU cluster environments, high-performance computing, spine/leaf fabric architectures, backbone networks, migration planning, traffic engineering, enterprise networking, structured cabling, campus networks, facilities infrastructure, optical networking, photonic systems, fiber characterization, or telecom transport networks
