Beschreibung

• Develop and revise advanced sequences of operations to improve HVAC equipment energy efficiency • Assess existing building automation systems to support product selection • Conduct field surveys of equipment and building automation capabilities • Create Room Ventilation Schedules based on applicable code requirements • Provide design feedback on alternatives, equipment choices, and pricing decisions • Develop controls submittal packages, including parts lists • Manage onsite work direction of controls and low-voltage subcontractors • Start up control systems, including trends, graphics, and programming • Program advanced sequences for critical infrastructure, including central plants • Lead programming and controls implementation efforts • Ensure pre-functional checklists are completed • Troubleshoot control installation problems and failed equipment • Provide construction administration, progress documentation, and design document updates • Support commissioning and ensure controls documentation is complete • Coordinate with other divisions to achieve controls outcomes • Develop technical reports and related documents • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to subordinate staff • Uphold company mission, values, and owner advocacy philosophy • Perform other duties as assigned or required

🎯 Anforderungen

• Experience with JCI, Siemens, Honeywell, Trane, Tridium, Schneider, or other building automation systems • 10+ years of experience • Expert knowledge of commercial HVAC systems • Ability to meet deadlines • Basic planning skills • Problem-solving skills • Valid driver's license and clean driving record • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment • Preferred: Associates degree in automation, controls instrumentation or related fields • Preferred: Journeyman electrician • Travel: 50% of time spent traveling to job site(s)/office location • Ability to work in varied physical environments, including climbing, kneeling, standing, sitting, confined spaces, and operating machinery or power tools • Ability to adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds
