Beschreibung

• Set up building automation control systems, including custom programming, graphics, and trends • Assist in developing and revising advanced sequences of operations to improve HVAC energy efficiency • Assess existing building automation systems to support product selection • Conduct field surveys to identify equipment types and automation system capabilities • Create Room Ventilation Schedules based on applicable code requirements • Provide design feedback on alternatives, equipment choices, and pricing decisions • Develop controls submittal packages, including parts lists • Manage onsite work direction of controls and low-voltage subcontractors • Start up control systems, including trends, graphics, and programming • Program advanced sequences of operations for critical infrastructure, including central plants • Lead programming and controls implementation efforts • Ensure pre-functional checklists and commissioning documentation are complete • Troubleshoot control installation problems and failed equipment • Provide construction administration, progress documentation, and design document updates • Coordinate with other divisions to achieve controls outcomes • Assist with technical reports and related documents • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to subordinate staff • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Anforderungen

• Experience with JCI, Siemens, Honeywell, Trane, Tridium, Schneider, or other building automation systems • 10+ years of experience • Expert knowledge of commercial HVAC systems • Ability to meet deadlines • Basic planning skills • Problem-solving skills • Valid driver's license and clean driving record • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment • Associates degree in automation, controls instrumentation or related fields (preferred) • Journeyman electrician (preferred) • Willingness and ability to travel 50% of the time to job site(s)/office location • Ability to work in varied physical and environmental conditions, including climbing, confined spaces, prolonged standing/sitting, operating machinery and power tools, and moving objects up to 50 pounds
