Beschreibung

• Oversee operations and personnel at college retail bookstores in the designated region • Construct and direct budget goals for the designated region • Facilitate conversion of print materials to digital access • Execute Company customer service initiatives • Oversee acquisition and maintenance of digital access, textbook and merchandise inventory • Hire and train bookstore personnel • Provide company procedure and job-related training • Represent the Company professionally • Oversee store managers in the designated region • Procure and maintain sufficient textbook inventory levels throughout each school term • Procure and maintain adequate general merchandise inventory according to budgetary needs • Ensure correspondence and sufficient contact with department chairpersons, faculty members and publishers regarding book orders • Supervise construction of store budgets • Construct and analyze weekly and monthly reports monitoring financial fiscal return • Prepare weekly financial snapshot reports for each store • Meet with campus administration at least four times a year to build rapport and discuss service and customer expectations • Participate in outreach to prospective customers • Supervise store appearance and customer service integrity • Recruit, hire, train and maintain staff at appropriate levels according to Company guidelines and budgets

🎯 Anforderungen

• Four (4) years of college or its equivalent • Three (3) to five (5) years management experience in a multi-unit college bookstore or retail operation • Successful retailing experience including profitability, budgeting, merchandising, promotion and staffing • Textbook experience is a plus • Ability to accommodate extensive travel schedule • Strong analytical skills • Expert team building skills • Effective leader, mentor, and coach • Demonstrated administrative skills • Basic accounting skills • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • May be expected to work some weekends based on business needs • Must include salary history and/or salary requirements to be considered
