Beschreibung

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of engineers • Conduct 1:1s, provide coaching and feedback, and support professional development • Participate in hiring, onboarding, team growth strategies, and performance management • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code • Contribute to key development projects and unblock engineering challenges • Guide architecture, code reviews, and technical decision-making • Collaborate with Product, Design, and stakeholders to define and deliver solutions • Partner with Product to shape epics, plan sprints, and prioritize the backlog • Own sprint planning, delivery timelines, and status reporting • Hold the team accountable to sprint commitments and timely delivery • Identify and manage technical dependencies and risks • Champion best practices in coding, testing, CI/CD, and monitoring • Drive continuous improvement in tools, workflows, and processes • Help define and implement the long-term technical strategy • Build and maintain client-facing components within a monolith and microservices environment

🎯 Anforderungen

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience • 1–2+ years in a leadership or team lead capacity • Experience with AWS Lambda, ECS, SQS, Kinesis, SendGrid, Postfix, and Terraform • Experience designing and delivering scalable, production-ready systems and applications • Comfortable contributing to frontend and/or backend codebases • Solid understanding of modern development practices, architecture patterns, and engineering tools • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams • Experience delivering reliable, high-performance REST APIs • Strong interest in database and query performance tuning • Experience with Scrum/agile development methodologies • Experience with code reviews, service ownership, fully automated testing, microservices, and rapid/continuous releases • Proficiency in Java • Preferred: technical experience with email processing and tracking in large systems • Preferred: experience with serverless, queuing, and streaming • Preferred: comfort with on-call support and direct client interaction • Preferred: experience in the finance industry and/or at a SaaS startup
