Beschreibung

• Review customer contracts and determine revenue recognition treatment under ASC 606 • Prepare technical accounting memos supporting revenue conclusions • Execute month-end close activities, reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis • Support contract asset, deferred revenue, and contract liability accounting • Partner cross-functionally to resolve revenue-impacting issues • Support Merchant of Record accounting and reconciliations • Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls • Support audits and provide documentation

🎯 Anforderungen

• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant focus on revenue accounting • Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP revenue recognition requirements • Experience reviewing customer contracts and documenting accounting conclusions for complex revenue arrangements • Demonstrated experience supporting audits within public accounting and/or corporate accounting environments • Strong audit background required • Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close deliverables, and supporting schedules • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze and reconcile large datasets • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • Public accounting experience, including Big Four or large regional firm experience, strongly preferred • Experience in eCommerce, marketplace, logistics, fulfillment, SaaS, or technology-enabled services environments is a nice-to-have • Experience supporting multiple revenue streams or complex customer arrangements is a nice-to-have • Experience with Business Central (Dynamics 365) or similar ERP systems is a nice-to-have • Experience participating in process transformation or accounting automation initiatives is a nice-to-have • Prior involvement in IPO readiness, private equity-backed organizations, or high-growth environments is a nice-to-have • Must be eligible to work in the United States • Cart.com does not intend to hire candidates who require current or future non-immigrant visa sponsorship; visas cannot be sponsored or transferred
