Beschreibung

• Support facility engineering projects involving the design, construction, and improvement of distribution facilities and processes • Support project managers and directors in developing and implementing material handling systems, operational processes, and new facilities or renovations • Assist with project charters and capital expenditure requests • Manage assigned project scope according to project charter guidelines • Work on material handling equipment, warehouse and business systems, building construction or modification, and related equipment and services • Perform data analytics, develop design criteria, conduct simulations, prepare RFPs, evaluate vendors, create AutoCAD 2D layouts, and coordinate sites • Support construction oversight, testing, and issue resolution • Coordinate multiple workstreams with internal teams and external resources • Develop and maintain engineering documentation, standard operating procedures, and distribution-center as-built drawings • Provide engineering insight into operational and business process change evaluations • Manage and report on budgets and timelines for assigned scope • Issue purchase orders according to company policy • Communicate task status and pending issues • Develop supplier specifications and RFPs • Manage engagement with consultants, outsourced resources, and vendors • Coordinate activities with project directors, senior project managers, and internal project teams

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience required • 2+ years of experience in enterprise systems, warehouse or supply chain applications, automation, controls, SCADA, or a related field required • Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and experience performing engineering tasks in projects related to warehouse operations, warehouse design, warehouse and business systems, process improvement and standardization, and/or engineered labor standards • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing • Ability to communicate and work effectively with people from different technical and business backgrounds • Good analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Tactful discretion with difficult or sensitive information • Strong presentation skills and ability to present technical information to technical and non-technical audiences • Ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Access databases, Word, SIMIO or other simulation software, and AutoCAD • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time
