Beschreibung

• Support Public Sector networking opportunities by helping discover, qualify, and document customer requirements • Partner with Account Managers, Sales teams, vendor partners, and internal technical resources to support customer conversations and solution development • Assist with networking-focused recommendations involving switching, routing, wireless, security, and related infrastructure solutions • Ask discovery questions to understand customer environments, timelines, procurement requirements, funding considerations, and business outcomes • Participate in sales team calls, opportunity reviews, customer planning discussions, and internal enablement activities • Learn public sector and E-rate sales cycles, including eligible solution categories, documentation expectations, and customer funding considerations • Manage services partners to collaborate on execution of E-rate opportunities • Pursue assigned vendor training, technical sales certifications, and internal learning paths • Support customer-facing and internal events as a technical sales-support and enablement resource • Lead and conduct workshops and demonstrations • Prepare and deliver presentations demonstrating the value proposition • Support solution recommendations and meaningful technology outcomes for K-12, higher education, government, and other public sector customers

🎯 Anforderungen

• Experience and understanding of ERATE programs and policies • Ability to manage services partners collaborating on ERATE opportunities • Understanding of leading manufacturers’ routing and switching architecture • Cisco Networking skills required • Ability to lead and conduct workshops and demonstrations • Experience with storage and virtualization products from leading manufacturers • Understanding of Converged Infrastructure concepts and Cloud solution benefits • Working knowledge or familiarity with HP, Dell, Lenovo, and Cisco blade and rack server systems and related storage products • Familiarity with enterprise storage arrays from HP, EMC, IBM, Dell, and NetApp • Familiarity with converged and/or hyper-converged platforms • Familiarity with Software Defined Networking and Software Defined Data Center • Familiarity with cloud solution offerings and providers • Familiarity with VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft products • Familiarity with Microsoft enterprise environments • Familiarity with Linux, UNIX, or AIX enterprise environments • Familiarity with data center consolidation and cloud solutions • Familiarity with disaster recovery and business continuity • Verifiably successful professional business-to-business solutions selling experience • Account planning skills and experience with up-sell and cross-sell strategies • Excellent time management and prioritization skills • Strong organizational skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to prepare and deliver clear, articulate value-proposition presentations • Advanced negotiation skills • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States • Employer cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa
