Beschreibung

• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate service options for injured workers • Assist injured workers in receiving appropriate, cost-effective medical care in a timely manner • Expedite injured workers' return to work • Communicate with medical providers, employers, injured workers, claims examiners, insurance representatives, physicians, therapists, and attorneys • Perform complete nursing evaluations to determine patient needs • Review and evaluate medical correspondence, provider reports, treatment plans, and medical history • Evaluate claimants' clinical status and research alternative treatment options • Provide claims examiners with updates on file status and directives • Arrange authorized transportation services • Evaluate therapy facilities and progress on assigned cases • Prepare comprehensive case-file notes • Discuss analyzed data and plans of care with insurance representatives before implementation • Implement authorized plans of care with patients, physicians, and healthcare providers • Arrange home care, procedures, medication, equipment, or supplies as needed • Monitor and modify plans of care with patients and physicians • Coordinate information among injured workers, physicians, employers, therapists, attorneys, and other providers

🎯 Anforderungen

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing • 3-5 years clinical experience as an RN outside of school • Valid Compact RN license in good standing with no restrictions • Valid state-appropriate RN license in good standing with no restrictions • Will be required to obtain CA RN License within 90 days • Possesses and can demonstrate the professional and technical skills of a Registered Nurse • Experience in Case Management • Workers' Compensation experience preferred, but not required • Experience in Home Health Care or Occupational Health considered a plus • Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills • Excellent Interpersonal & Organizational Skills • High comfort level with computers and computer programs (MS Word, MS Excel, Email)
