Beschreibung

• Perform detailed on-site surveys and audits of client sites, including K-12 schools, higher education, federal, corrections, and healthcare facilities • Document existing conditions in designated software • Develop scopes of work and perform energy calculations for existing and proposed conditions • Manage projects from concept through completion, meeting deadlines, budgets, and quality standards • Coordinate with teams, stakeholders, technical staff, junior engineers, and subcontractors • Identify and solve complex mechanical problems • Plan projects and subtasks for tracking and presentation • Assist with scheduling development resources • Interpret blueprints, models, mechanical systems, products, and technical drawings • Research new technologies and industry trends to improve products and processes • Drive divisional efficiencies and operating improvements • Lead technical staff, junior engineers, subcontractors, and cross-division coordination • Ensure accuracy and outcomes of team deliverables • Train and mentor junior team members • Lead the Development portion of ECM Challenger meetings as assigned • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science, focused on electrical, mechanical, environmental, or chemical engineering • Proficiency auditing domestic water, process water, steam, building envelope, HVAC Armor, and demand control ventilation systems • Subject matter expertise in at least one area or system • Working knowledge of several other specialization areas • Strong understanding of engineering principles • Proficiency in mechanical drawings and specifications • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret energy consumption data • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Ability to train work groups and lead work teams • Ability to give effective presentations and write convincing proposals and reports • Strong organizational and project management skills • Meticulous attention to detail in calculations, designs, and reports • Ability to stay current with evolving energy technologies, regulations, and industry best practices • Understanding of ROI, payback period, and life cycle cost analysis • Proficiency in energy and water scope documentation and measurement and verification practices • Proficient knowledge of estimating practices • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Word • Ability to walk and stand for long periods • Ability to go up and down stairs • Prior construction industry experience is a plus • EIT, PE, CEM, LEED, CLIA, CWEP, or PMP certifications preferred
