Beschreibung

• Design, build, and continuously improve end-to-end reconciliation processes across SEPA, SWIFT, and card payment flows • Extend reconciliation capabilities into investment and portfolio reconciliation, working with external data providers where needed • Build and automate vendor and regulatory reports • Ensure reports tie back to and reconcile with the underlying reconciliation dataset • Design validations to identify data quality issues at the source • Identify and eliminate manual, repetitive reconciliation steps using internal tooling, scripting, or external platforms • Design and build reconciliation reporting and monitoring dashboards • Provide real-time visibility into breaks, aging items, and process health • Treat recurring discrepancies and KRI breaches as signals for structural fixes • Act as the internal subject-matter authority on reconciliation data and tooling • Take problems from vague descriptions to shipped solutions with minimal oversight • Prioritise and sequence work autonomously

🎯 Anforderungen

• 5+ years working directly in reconciliation, payments operations, or a closely related financial operations role • Experience at a bank, EMI, or payments institution • Strong SQL skills, including writing and optimising SQL • Hands-on experience with data visualisation/BI tools such as Databricks, Metabase, Tableau, or similar • Comfortable using AI tools to speed up automation, process, and reporting work • Track record of decomposing manual workflows into automatable steps and implementing automation • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision • Ability to explain technical and numerical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including Finance • Comfortable with complex payment infrastructures and intricate money flows, including investment portfolio reconciliation • Investment or portfolio reconciliation experience, or investment accounting/reporting platform exposure, is a bonus • Python or similar scripting language experience is a bonus • Experience with external reconciliation or data providers/vendor integration is a bonus • Mutual fund or similar collective investment scheme back-office experience is a bonus • Experience reconciling positions, valuations, and P&L against external asset managers or fund administrators is a bonus
