Beschreibung

• Support accounting and financial reporting for complex and non-routine transactions • Lead technical accounting research and develop well-supported accounting positions • Apply U.S. GAAP consistently across the organization • Execute and support accounting for purchase accounting, intangible assets and amortization, investments, hedging activities, goodwill, and other technical accounting matters • Prepare analyses, documentation, journal entries, reconciliations, and account analyses • Develop, update, and maintain accounting policies and procedures • Monitor emerging accounting standards and regulatory developments and coordinate implementation • Draft technical accounting memoranda and supporting documentation for audits • Collaborate with FP&A, Legal, Tax, Manufacturing Operations, and auditors • Support monthly close and ensure ERP accuracy and completeness • Support SOX internal controls and identify process improvement opportunities • Communicate complex accounting matters to finance and non-finance stakeholders, including senior leadership • Provide cross-functional and team support and perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience • Active CPA certification • Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience • Progressive experience in public accounting and/or technical accounting • Big 4 public accounting experience • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements • Ability to research, interpret, and document complex accounting issues • Experience in a public company environment or supporting SEC reporting • Experience with complex transactions such as M&A, revenue recognition, and derivatives • Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools • Experience in a SOX-compliant environment • Exposure to manufacturing or multi-entity organizations • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities • Day-shift availability
