Beschreibung

• Lead and complete Non-destructive projects in the field supporting engineering analysis of high energy and low temperature boiler components • Conduct and document field assessments and close out field results with customers • Set up and calibrate Non-destructive testing equipment • Conduct NDT tests to ensure quality or detect defects • Establish examination techniques and adhere to safety regulations • Apply testing criteria according to applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results • Organize and report test results • Perform specialized inspections • Instruct and supervise subcontractors as needed • Provide technical leadership and mentor NDT staff • Interface daily with clients about work priorities and provide daily progress reporting • Participate in client programs, planning, and strategy sessions • Explain NDT techniques and results to non-NDT personnel • Travel to field projects as required • Work holidays, weekends, and overtime as assigned or required by field projects

🎯 Anforderungen

• Diploma in a technical discipline from a trade school, vocational program, or military program and 2 years of related NDT experience, OR high school diploma/GED and 4 years of related NDT experience • Minimum 2 years of experience effectively performing assigned NDT tasks and interpreting inspection results • Experience using NDT techniques in power generation, industrial, or manufacturing environments • Valid driver’s license • Fluent in English • Ability to lead inspection efforts and execute inspection plans • Advanced experience with Non-destructive methodologies • Knowledge of inspection technologies • NDT Level II Certification desired • UT, MT, and PT certifications are a plus • Level II certification in MT, PT, and UT and ability to meet company certification standards desired • Experience with automated and computerized NDT equipment • Demonstrated history supporting customers and producing final reports • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams and engineering drawings • Code shooting capabilities • Exceptional safety and quality awareness • Exceptional attention to detail • Team working • Mechanical aptitude • Willingness and ability to travel • Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as assigned and required by field projects • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen as applicable
