Beschreibung

• Lead and coach QEs and SDETs across multiple product teams to ensure alignment with the quality engineering strategy. • Enable consistent application of risk-based exploratory testing by supporting charter creation, context gathering, and story-driven test design. • Drive automation maturity by guiding SDETs in the lifecycle of checks, curation of suites, and ownership responsibilities. • Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to align quality activities with delivery goals and risk tolerance. • Partner with automation architects, framework teams, and contract regression staff to ensure layered and sustainable automation coverage. • Establish practices for effective workflow management, including environment lifecycle support, governance, compliance, and incident response. • Tell the quality story through metrics, coverage mapping, and outcome-driven reporting that highlights risk, confidence, and delivery impact. • Mentor team members to develop both technical skills (automation, test design, observability) and strategic skills (risk framing, CAS, quality storytelling). • Foster a culture of responsible testing, innovation, and collaboration across engineering. • Champion responsible AI-assisted quality practices across the SDLC to improve test design, automation opportunities, coverage analysis, and quality artifact generation.

🎯 Anforderungen

• 5+ years of experience in software quality • Strong understanding of modern quality engineering practices, including exploratory testing, test automation, observability, and continuous delivery. • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor engineers on both mindset and technical skills. • Proven success in driving cross-team alignment on quality strategy and practices. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey risk and quality insights to executive, product, and technical audiences. • Experience with agile workflows, DevOps practices, and working across distributed teams.
