Beschreibung

• Provide design and engineering drawing services supporting manufacturing processes for metal frames, panels, enclosures, mounting solutions, and specialty metal items • Ensure shop drawings comply with applicable codes, industry standards, and regulations • Analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data for feasibility and cost • Research, design, validate, and analyze machined parts, castings, welded fabrications, and structural/mechanical components • Identify and mitigate project risks affecting plans and schedules • Select components, route wires and cables, and develop system layouts • Assist and direct mechanical systems strategy for Data Center Infrastructure, Energy Storage Systems, and HVAC • Evaluate mechanical system operations and recommend modifications • Develop CAD models and design data packages; perform finite element analysis for stress and structural dynamics using ProE CREO, SolidWorks, or other CAD software • Review and validate CAD/technical data packages and mechanical design requirements • Optimize manufacturing assembly processes through design, modification, and testing of methods and equipment • Create detailed mechanical designs for components, sub-assemblies, and system integration • Create Bills of Materials for release to manufacturing • Conduct root-cause investigations of mechanical design and material issues • Monitor product delivery for quality and schedule adherence • Draft and contribute to test plans and specifications • Perform testing, debugging, and validation of mechanical systems • Manage relationships with mechanical component vendors and contract manufacturers • Keep current with technologies and methods for competitive, cost-effective designs • Propose R&D project ideas with management • Assess engineering feasibility and cost-effectiveness with management and production staff • Mentor less experienced engineers

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field • Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical system integration • Proven track record of successful system designs and implementations in a relevant industry • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, integration strategy, and system coordination • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to Energy Storage Systems and Data Center Infrastructure is preferred • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Strong communication and teamwork abilities • Experience in WindChill and DevOps is a plus • Alternatively, a suitable combination of education, experience, and/or training may be considered • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Creative, self-motivated, accountable, and team-oriented • Able to work independently with minimal oversight • Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting general business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations • Skilled in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural guides • Effective at presenting information and responding to management, clients, and public queries • Capable of influencing others and sharing best practices • Comfortable working as part of a global team • Capable of assessing projects, articulating risks, and developing project milestones • Familiar with stage-gate processes in project lifecycle management (PLCM) • Able to mentor less experienced engineers
