Beschreibung

• Own the product vision and roadmap for Kraken's exchange layer, including the matching engine, core infrastructure, third-party custody, algo engine, and API engine • Lead and grow a team of four to five product managers • Set the standard for product craft across the exchange layer • Consolidate multiple matching engines into one, beginning with US derivatives, then international derivatives, then spot • Build an interface-agnostic platform for all product teams and interfaces • Define and enforce success metrics including p99 latency, throughput, uptime, and resiliency • Partner with engineering leaders to sequence migration without disrupting live markets • Partner with Risk and Credit Infrastructure to enable one account for trading every product • Anticipate industry shifts and shape the platform accordingly • Align product, engineering, risk, and compliance teams around exchange strategy

🎯 Anforderungen

• Senior product leader with experience in exchange, trading, or high-performance platforms • Experience managing and developing product managers • Ability to operate as a player-coach and personally own roadmaps and write specifications • Proven ability to set product vision and translate it into a long-term roadmap • Strong understanding of matching engine and market data architecture • Understanding of low-latency tradeoffs • Experience building platforms for internal customers • Ability to distinguish a platform from bespoke builds • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders • Passion for crypto markets, market structure, and infrastructure • Engineering background operating high-performance systems (nice to have) • Experience across spot and derivatives venues (nice to have) • Experience at a crypto exchange operating at comparable scale, volume, and uptime expectations (nice to have) • Track record building platform roadmaps integrated with adjacent product organizations (nice to have) • Must select a work country and city in the application • Must disclose whether work sponsorship will be needed
