Beschreibung

• Lead a team of subcontract professionals supporting defense and aerospace programs • Provide daily leadership, coaching, performance management, and employee development • Oversee the full subcontract lifecycle from planning and solicitation through award, administration, and closeout • Partner with program leadership and cross-functional teams on technical, schedule, financial, and compliance objectives • Resolve escalated supplier, contractual, and performance issues • Monitor subcontract risk, performance, documentation, and audit readiness • Drive process improvement, standardization, operational excellence, and functional excellence • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and workforce development • Lead high-visibility subcontract efforts and represent the function in meetings and reviews

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years prior related management experience; or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related management experience; or, in lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related management experience • Travel up to 25% may be required • Prior experience in a formal people manager role • Experience supporting defense, aerospace, or U.S. Government contracting programs • Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CPSR expectations, and subcontract compliance requirements • Experience with fixed-price, cost-reimbursement, and time-and-materials subcontracts • Experience with cost analysis, price analysis, negotiation strategy development, and supplier risk management • Experience managing high-value or critical subcontract portfolios • Experience supporting audit readiness, internal controls, purchasing system reviews, and compliance assessments • Familiarity with earned value, funding profiles, program controls, and supplier performance metrics • Working knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and export compliance requirements • Demonstrated success in talent development, coaching, mentoring, and team capability building • Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
