Beschreibung

• Design and build control-plane services, drivers such as CSI, and tooling to provision, configure, and operate storage for Kubernetes-based AI and compute workloads • Integrate high-performance storage platforms, including Dell PowerScale, VAST, and comparable systems, into automated declarative provisioning workflows • Build data-path, telemetry, and observability tooling to diagnose and resolve performance, reliability, and scaling issues • Write production-quality software primarily in Go, with strong testing, code review, and operational rigor • Deliver infrastructure-as-code using Terraform/OpenTofu and GitOps-driven storage configuration and lifecycle pipelines using ArgoCD or Flux • Support bare-metal and hybrid provisioning where storage intersects host and cluster bring-up • Deliver storage integration for k0s-based Kubernetes via Cluster API and K0rdent management/child cluster topologies • Architect storage software for fully disconnected air-gapped environments, including local artifact/mirror connectivity and PKI/TLS considerations • Own ambiguous problems end to end and communicate technical decisions across teams

🎯 Anforderungen

• 7+ years of experience with Go (Golang) in production systems • 5+ years of experience building distributed production systems at scale • 5+ years of Kubernetes experience as a developer, with an Infrastructure as Code approach • Linux and Kubernetes storage fundamentals (NFS, CSI) • Proficiency in Python preferred • Experience developing or integrating high-performance storage for GPU/AI workloads preferred • Experience with high-throughput data pipelines and GPUDirect Storage preferred • Proven experience in sovereign or high-security air-gapped environments preferred • Experience with Dell PowerScale, VAST, or comparable storage systems • Experience with Terraform/OpenTofu • Experience with GitOps pipelines using ArgoCD or Flux • Experience with Cluster API (CAPI), k0s, and K0rdent management/child cluster topologies • Knowledge of Harbor and PKI/TLS considerations for air-gapped environments
