Beschreibung

• Modernize the VA Loan Guaranty technology portfolio • Translate statute, policy, and stakeholder needs into refined, traceable user stories and precise acceptance criteria • Drive intake from raw business intent to scoped, estimated, committed plans within days • Own and sequence the roadmap across modernization, sustainment, and legacy decommissioning • Balance the needs of VA program officials, field staff, lenders, and servicers • Own prioritization so each 30-day release delivers stakeholder value • Coordinate user acceptance testing • Represent business value in configure-versus-customize decisions • Ground prioritization in analytics, usage, and operational metrics • Sequence the transition from legacy systems to the modern platform • Use AI to analyze policy and regulation changes, draft and stress-test stories, synthesize stakeholder feedback, and maintain backlog coherence • Partner with the Enterprise Solution Architect, Engineering Lead, and DevSecOps Lead • Set direction for architecture, engineering, and the customer; present evidence-based recommendations to federal decision-makers • Challenge harmful direction respectfully and make and document decisions when priorities conflict

🎯 Anforderungen

• A product management record on complex enterprise software, with real users, real stakes, and outcomes rather than ceremonies • Housing finance domain fluency, especially servicing, loss mitigation, or claims • Ability to write user stories and acceptance criteria that engineers can build from and testers can automate against • Federal delivery experience, treating accessibility, security, and documentation as product constraints • Ability to facilitate rooms spanning senior officials, field users, and engineers • Evidence-driven prioritization, with stated assumptions when data is thin • Demonstrated AI-in-the-loop practice • Judgment under ambiguity and ownership of outcomes • U.S.-based • Able to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust clearance • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal Public Trust clearance; a Secret clearance is not required • Direct experience with VA Loan Guaranty, VALERI, or other VA benefit programs is helpful but not required • FHA, USDA rural housing, GSE, or lender and servicer operations experience is helpful but not required • Product work on Salesforce or a comparable configuration-first platform is helpful but not required • Familiarity with MISMO, URLA, Jira and Confluence, or scaled agile is helpful but not required • No degree or year-count screening requirement; strong evidence is valued
