Beschreibung

• Maintain, operate, and repair electrical systems • Assist with and perform electrical installation and maintenance tasks • Read, interpret, and execute drawings, schematics, blueprints, and electrical code specifications • Test electrical equipment and parts for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance • Install, repair, and replace AC/DC motors, drives, starters, and relays • Install, repair, and replace electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, support structures, fiber-optic and line assemblies, lighting, and alternative electrical parts • Install, repair, and replace generators and industrial storage batteries • Perform preventive maintenance and testing of electrical systems • Install electrical circuits, panels, conduit, protecting devices, switches, and equipment required to accommodate the NEC • Correct connections and wiring on equipment controls • Collaborate with workers and crew members • Mentor, coach, and manage Electrical Apprentice employees when assigned • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Anforderungen

• A valid Minnesota electrical license OR license from a state that reciprocates with Minnesota is required • Ability to maintain an organized workspace • Ability to work underground, inside buildings, or on rooftops • Up to 100% travel and ability to work at various locations as business needs dictate • Basic understanding of electricity • Organization and problem-solving skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Valid certifications and licensing, as needed • Working knowledge of construction, quality, safety, and OSHA guidelines • Preferred: valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record • Ability to work overtime and travel to remote job sites approximately 80–100% of the work week, including overnight stays • Ability to occasionally lift more than 50 lbs. • Ability to stand, sit, walk, lift, squat, push, pull, climb stairs, ladders and possibly towers, hear, see, reach, grasp, and use hands and fingers to operate computers, telephones, power tools, and equipment • Ability to work in extreme weather, high places, around moving mechanical parts, vehicles, equipment, and loud or constant noise
