Beschreibung

• Own the 3-8 math academic program • Make and document curriculum decisions across 3-8 math, including learning software and instructional materials • Build and maintain the Primer Math Learning Continuum • Design and support training for Primer Leaders and virtual math teachers • Monitor math apps, adaptive learning tools, research, and implementation outcomes • Maintain program quality and consistency as Primer scales • Analyze student performance and program usage data to drive program decisions • Manage virtual math teachers across campuses • Set expectations and provide feedback on virtual math instruction • Collaborate with the Academic team to ensure K-8 coherence and continuity • Partner with the Director of Campus Teams and Head of Training on program adjustments and training • Report to and work closely with the Director of Academics • Partner with the product team on 3-8 math features and app integrations • Flag gaps in Primer.com support for the math program and advocate for solutions • Travel quarterly to observe the math program in action • Build relationships with Primer Leaders and virtual math teachers

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree • At least 5 years of experience teaching or leading math instruction in grades 3-8 • Experience managing or coaching teachers • Experience designing, strategically shaping, or improving a math program • Experience with adaptive or mastery-based math programs • Expertise in math instruction and learning software • Deep knowledge of 3-8 math and software-driven instructional models • Hands-on familiarity with major math learning apps and adaptive platforms • 2+ years of relevant experience in curriculum, instructional design, or a closely related role • Strong people management, collaboration, and communication • Experience managing a team and providing direct, useful feedback • Ability to work independently across a distributed team • Willingness to travel quarterly to campuses • Experience in a charter, microschool, or non-traditional school environment (nice to have) • Experience managing a remote or distributed team of teachers (nice to have) • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States • Must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future
