Beschreibung

• Lead and oversee numerous products within SAE’s industry-centered professional development portfolio of training courses, curricula, and services • Monitor and manage product financial success • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on product messaging, positioning, promotion, and sales • Identify industry skills gaps, certification needs, and workforce-development problems • Align and propose solutions, develop business cases and financial analyses, and participate in cross-functional roadmap prioritization • Convene and lead advisory panels and engage stakeholders and subject matter experts to survey, interview, develop, and deliver content • Ensure product vision is executed within appropriate time frames • Drive the strategic direction of the product portfolio with the product group Director • Implement strategy to drive revenue, margin, and growth goals • Guide tradeoffs affecting cost, schedule, users, and product performance throughout the lifecycle • Provide product leadership from introduction through obsolescence and evaluate new technologies • Recommend product positioning and messaging and ensure communication to sales and marketing • Drive and participate in efficacy research to improve ease of use and customer satisfaction • Present research findings to management to influence future product direction • Create and deliver formal presentations and conduct group discussions • Review product usage data and maintain dialogue with customers and internal stakeholders • Mentor product managers and promote strategic product-management practices • Contribute to SAE’s organizational goals and complete additional assigned projects

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, media, STEM, or related field • 6+ years of experience in product management and development or related role • P&L responsibility • Demonstrated experience with new product development processes and life cycle maintenance • Understanding of talent and/or workforce development landscape and/or curriculum development • Expertise using quantitative and qualitative data to lead product management activities • Experience collecting voice of customer inputs and developing relationships with industry stakeholders • Product Management certification required within 6 months if absent • Master’s degree preferred • Experience in Aerospace, Ground Vehicles, the mobility industry, standards, or professional certification business is a plus • Regularly required to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing • Occasionally required to move or transport materials weighing up to 25 pounds • May need to set up and dismantle displays or materials at events
