Beschreibung

• Own the multiplatform engineering strategy across Android and shared KMP layers • Set technical direction and influence architecture decisions across the mobile organization • Lead complex, multi-quarter features and systems from architecture and design through deployment and refinement • Define and enforce engineering principles and best practices across Android and KMP surfaces • Drive architectural decisions for shared business logic, Compose Multiplatform UI, and cross-platform state management • Partner with platform teams on contracts, shared standards, and a unified UI component library • Make high-impact technical decisions with product, design, and executive stakeholders • Champion software quality, testability, operational metrics, and build system health • Mentor and grow engineers at all levels • Lead incident resolution through the on-call rotation and remove cross-team blockers • Conduct rigorous code reviews and elevate engineering standards

🎯 Anforderungen

• 10+ years of experience building highly scalable, consumer-facing Android applications • Strong track record of senior staff-level technical leadership and cross-platform ownership • Expert-level Kotlin, including coroutines, flows, language idioms, and best practices • Deep hands-on KMP experience in large, multi-module codebases • Strong command of MVI and reactive architecture patterns • Gradle and build system expertise, including multi-module projects, convention plugins, dependency management, and build performance • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, SDK versioning strategies, and automated release management • Hands-on Compose and Compose Multiplatform experience • Deep knowledge of Android platform best practices and design system standards • Ability to communicate complex technical decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Experience driving Agile/SCRUM process improvements and delivery excellence • Team-first mentality • Strongly desired: Compose Multiplatform across Android, iOS, desktop, and additional targets • Strongly desired: KSP-based code generation, Koin or similar dependency injection patterns • Strongly desired: Feature flag systems, mobile observability tooling, and platform integration patterns • Strongly desired: Distributed systems and event-driven architecture
