Beschreibung

• Establish and operationalize SouthState Bank’s formal, enterprise-wide data quality program • Design and implement data quality frameworks, standards, policies, procedures, and operating models • Embed data quality into data or AI use-case and onboarding lifecycles where applicable • Identify and document critical data elements, business rules, data quality thresholds, and process flows • Collect metadata to support curation of critical data elements within the data catalog • Design, build, and operationalize automated and manual data quality controls, profiling, and monitoring • Oversee identification of data errors and drive remediation at the source • Develop and maintain data quality metrics, scorecards, and Power BI reporting • Manage the data issue lifecycle, lead root-cause analysis, and implement preventative process improvements • Lead and support active data quality efforts and projects • Lead, coach, and enable Data Owners, Data Stewards, and Data Communities • Deliver data quality awareness and training and promote a quality-focused culture • Partner with IT/Data, Information Security, Risk Management, Compliance, Privacy, and Internal Audit • Align data quality processes with applicable standards and regulatory requirements • Take ownership of tasks and challenges associated with the assigned position

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, Analytics, or a related field • 5+ years in data management, data governance, data quality, or a related data/analytics or process improvement role • Experience establishing and executing data quality, data governance, or data management practices • Experience defining critical data elements, business rules, thresholds, and controls • Experience with data profiling, data issue root-cause analysis, and remediation • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams • Project management experience, including developing and executing project plans and roadmaps • Strong understanding of data quality dimensions, frameworks, and best practices • Working knowledge of data governance, data stewardship, metadata management, and data catalog tools such as Atlan • Proficiency with SQL and/or data quality tooling, and BI platforms such as Power BI • Understanding of banking data, regulatory and compliance considerations, and risk management practices • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills • Ability to build a data quality program from the ground up • Strong leadership, facilitation, and cross-functional influence without direct authority • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready reporting • Preferred: banking experience and knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements • Preferred: data management or data quality certification, project management certification, and/or relevant data platform certifications • Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels • Ability to use a computer frequently, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor • Ability to sit, walk, and/or stand for extended periods; ability to bend and reach
