Beschreibung

• Own money movement end to end across Same-Day ACH, RTP, wires, push-to-card, payroll cards, and payout experiences • Manage payment returns, rejections, retries, cutoff windows, settlement confirmation, reconciliation, funding windows, and failure handling • Design reusable, rail-agnostic payment services with explicit API and data contracts • Define payment-service SLAs, performance benchmarks, observability, multi-tenant scalability, backward compatibility, and migration paths • Write PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, state and error handling, field-level mappings, and technical scoping • Work daily with engineering through discovery, refinement, sprint planning, standups, demos, and delivery • Direct augmented and distributed engineering capacity and review delivered work • Carry initiatives through production validation by reading logs, querying data, and confirming fixes • Define success metrics and guardrails; run experiments, staged rollouts, canary releases, holdbacks, and rollback plans • Build analytics and instrumentation to independently answer product questions • Turn ambiguous symptoms, complaints, and incidents into scoped, sequenced, owned work • Reverse-engineer undocumented current state and improve documentation • Align Engineering, Payment Operations, Finance, Legal and Compliance, Customer Success, and Business Development • Manage product relationships with sponsor banks, processors, card networks, and data aggregators • Design for edge cases, compliance, auditability, risk mitigation, and payment resilience • Own and report payment-health metrics including success rate, time-to-land, cost per transaction, return rate, and exception volume

🎯 Anforderungen

• 7+ years of product management experience • 5+ years building payments or financial-infrastructure products • Under-the-hood knowledge of funds flows and domestic settlement across ACH, RTP, wires, and card rails • Experience owning live bank payment integrations end to end, including returns and exception handling • Experience building reusable payment services with API and data contracts • Experience working directly with sponsor banks, processors, or card networks on technical, commercial, and compliance obligations • Experience writing detailed payment-system requirements, including PRDs, stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases, and field-level mapping • Experience scaling a payment system through significant volume growth • Experience solving ambiguous 0-to-1 problems and building scalable B2B products from scratch • Experience designing, running, and analyzing A/B tests with sample sizing and statistical-significance discipline • Comfort with staged and canary rollouts, holdbacks, and guardrail metrics • Experience building cross-functional alignment without direct authority • Strong technical fluency: reading API contracts and data models, tracing data flows, evaluating integrations, and discussing architecture with engineers • Systems-thinking approach to edge cases, failure scenarios, migration paths, backward compatibility, and performance benchmarks • Experience shipping in agile with delivery accountability • Experience owning a production payment incident as the product lead • Experience using AI tools to increase personal productivity • Candidates must already have the right to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future • Preferred: Earned Wage Access, payroll, or on-demand pay experience • Preferred: card issuing or payroll card program experience • Preferred: treasury, ledger, reconciliation, or cash management product experience • Preferred: experience directing distributed or contracted engineering capacity • Preferred: SQL or scripting proficiency • Preferred: experimentation and analytics tooling experience • Preferred: familiarity with Reg E, CFPB guidance, NACHA operating rules, PCI, state money transmission, or open banking frameworks • Preferred: experience at a 50–500 person company assembling a financial platform • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
